JETSET is a range of internationally accredited general English qualifications designed to be a progression route from the early stages of learning English to high level fluency.

JETSET qualifications from EDI are a range of internationally accredited qualifications, designed to assess the learner’s ability to communicate in English.

JETSET provides a clear and consistent pathway through English language learning, from beginner to full fluency, enabling learners of all ages and backgrounds to develop their skills.

    ▪ available at seven separately certificated levels aligned to the Common European Framework

Aims

The aims of the JETSET qualifications are to enable learners to:
 

  • Develop their knowledge and understanding of the spoken and written forms of English in meaningful contexts.
     

  • Develop their ability to listen and read for gist and detail ; and apply knowledge and understanding to speaking and writing
     

  • Develop their ability to communicate effectively in English through the written and spoken word
    Develop their knowledge and understanding of English grammar, and the ability to apply it accurately in the appropriate context
     

  • Lay a suitable foundation for the further study of the language

Qualification Structure
Three mandatory components (Listening comprehension test, Reading test and Writing test) and one optional component (Speaking test).
